#Afuni Importance of Animals in Environment and Ecosystem
In turn, these animals produce carbon dioxide, which the plants use for their
growth and production of oxygen. When these animals die, their bodies decompose
into the soil (by microorganisms) and provide nutrients for the plants.
What is the importance of animals in nature?
Animals both large and small are a critical component to our environment.
Domesticated animals, such as livestock, provide us food, fiber and leather.
Wild animals, including birds, fish, insects and pollinators, are important to
support the web of activity in a functioning ecosystem.
How do animals contribute to the environment?
Animals help plants reproduce by carrying pollen from plant-to-plant and by
spreading seeds. Animals that eat insects and small mammals help reduce damage
by caterpillars, rabbits, and other plant-eaters.
What are the importance of these animals?
Animals are our companions, our workers, our eyes and ears, and our food. They
appear in ancient cave paintings, and on modern commercial farms. We have
domesticated some of them, while others remain wild and are sometimes endangered
by our activities.
How the nature is valuable to every creature?
Without nature we are nothing. We are the least important living thing. We rely
on plants, the sea, the insects, for balance, for food, for water, for oxygen,
for our wellbeing and mental health. They do not rely on us for anything, and
I am thankful for all nature gives.
